Lebanon Midway preparing for Tony Roper Memorial
The 19th Annual Tony Roper Memorial will be held Sunday, May 26 at the Lebanon Midway Speedway with race time set for 7:30 with Out-Pace USRA B-Mods competing for national points in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series as well as the CP-Carrillo Central Region presented by MVT.
Presented by S&S U-Pull-It Auto Parts, the main event will pay $500 to win and $50 to start. Passing points will be used to determine the feature race line-ups and FK Rod Ends will award a $100 bonus to the race's hard charger who advances the most positions.
Admission is $20 for ages 13 and older with discounts for seniors and members of the military. Kids ages 8-12 are just $5 and children 7 and under get in for free. Pit passes are $35 or $10 for kids 12 years old and younger.
Grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m. with the pits scheduled to open at 4:30. Hot laps are set for 6:30 and racing gets undereway at 7:30. Other classes include the Malvern Bank Cash Money Super Dirt Late Models, Midwest Modifieds, Pure Stocks, Hornets and Kidz Cruisers.
