Following last week's rain-out, the Lebanon Midway Speedway is ready for more exciting Out-Pace USRA B-Mod action in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.

"We really haven't had a good streak with the weather with all the rain during the weekdays this season," quoted track owner Jack Jones. "The track has had what we call 'some character' for our four races so far."

This will be the fifth scheduled points race in the Spring/Summer Series as drivers are trying to get themselves in a solid spot early this season.

So far in the highly competitive Out-Pace USRA B-Mod class, defending national champion Kris Jackson of Lebanon has captured three feature wins while 2018 track champion Sam Petty has gathered the other win with Jackson going into the action as the current track points leader.

Racing action also includes Street Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Hornets, Pure Stocks and the Kidz Cruisers.

The 1/3-mile dirt oval utilizes a line-up system of having all classes draw for heat races, with a possible row inversion of one to four rows. The previous week's winner starts back in the sixth row. The track has used this system since it started the first full season of racing back in 2005.

"Being a Friday night track in a rural area makes it tough for several racers to go racing," stated Race Director Ron Williams. "We draw drivers for close to one hour away and even as far away as three hours so we start at 8 p.m. This does allow us to help out our regular drivers and any new drivers to come and race with us. It does provide an interesting race program for the drivers and fans."

Grandstand admission is only $12 with kids 6-12 only $5 and under 6 free with discounted prices for seniors and membes of the military. Adult pit passes are only $30 with kids 12 and under $10.

Gates will open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 7, drivers draw cut-off at 7:30 and racing at 8.
