Lebanon Midway Speedway announces USRA Modified race Sept. 22
Lebanon Midway Speedway has announced a race for the USRA Modifieds on Saturday, Sept. 22, as part of the Fall Survivor Series.
As the racing season around the area draws to the fall season, many tracks start to close but for the last two seasons Midway's schedule has picked up speed. With the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national points going all the way until the last weekend of October, many drivers don't get that chance to better themselves in the standings so the track will sanction the race for drivers get a shot at some points.
Bud's Tire & Wheel has jumped aboard and will award an American Racer rcing tire to the feature winner. Second place will get a new black racing wheel and third a $25 certificate to Bud's Tire & Wheel.
The feature right now will pay as follows 1. $500, 2. $320, 3. $210, 4. $170, 5. $145, 6. $135, 7. $125, 8. $105, 9. $90, 10. $85 and $80 to start.
Open draw with passing points and redraw for the top six for starting spots will be used. There is no entry fee, just pit passes.
The event will also feature the Out-Pace USRA B-Mods presented by S&S U-Pull-It Auto Parts racing for USRA national points.
The Lebanon Midway Speedway is a 1/3-mile dirt oval located 6 miles east of Lebanon on Hwy. 32 and a quarter-mile right on B Hwy.
Surivor Series starts Sept. 8: The Speedway will start the 2018 Fall Survivor Series on Saturday, Sept. 8, with the 2nd Annual Bud Perry Classic with Out-Pace USRA B-Mods competing for $500 to win with the following payouts: 1. $500, 2. $350, 3. $225, 4. $175, 5. $150, 6. $125, 7. $100 and $75 to start.
Race time is 7:30 p.m. Action will also feature Late Models, Hornets, Midwest Modifieds, Pure Stocks and the Gateway Vintage Racing Association with a strong payout in all classes.
Grandstand adult admission will be $17, children 8-12 only $5. Pit passes will be $35 with added giveaways to the top finishers.
