Jackson charges to Lebanon Midway win

Current Out-Pace USRA B-Mod national points leader Kris Jackson of Lebanon went from third to first, moving around Ricky Watkins and leader Tyler Knudtson, and then drove away in taking his second win of the season Friday night in a hard-charging feature at the Lebanon Midway Speedway.

After wining the second heat, the redraw placed Jackson starting sixth in the 15-lap feature.

Knudtson jumped to the early lead with Watkins applying pressure. This torrid battle kept on all night until Jackson jumped to the top groove and made his winning pass at the mid-race portion of the feature.

Once in front, Jackson left the pack to settle the race for the runner-up spot between Knudtson, Sam Petty and early contender Watkins.

Brian Myers completed the top five.

Out-Pace USRA B-Mod action continues at Lebanon Midway Speedway next Friday night, May 11, with action presented by S&S U-Pull-It Parts and former B-Mod racer Toby Thompson.
