I-44 Speedway set to hold awards banquet
LEBANON, Mo. -- The Lebanon I-44 Speedway has one more event planned for the 2006 season.
The speedway will host the 2006 awards banquet at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, to honor drivers for their season achievements.
Awards and point money will be given out to the season champions as well as to season points contenders. Late Models and Modifieds will be paid according to UMP and USRA rules, respectively.
Rookie of the Year honors will also be announced and drivers will have the chance to vote for the Sportsmanship Award in each class.
Drivers, friends, family and fans are all invited to the catered banquet. Tickets for the meal are $12 at the door. Drivers need to be present to receive their awards.
Ron Mitchell of Ron Mitchell Racing Photos will also announce the Best Looking Car Awards in each class.
The Mills Center is located on Mills Dr. next to the Cowan Civic Center on Business Loop 66 in Lebanon.
