I-35 Speedway, U.S. 36 Raceway announce two-track “Shootout”
Officials from the I-35 Speedway in Winston, Mo., and U.S. 36 Raceway in Osborn, Mo., are pleased to announce the Shootout—a joint effort to crown a champion in the shared classes at both tracks: USRA Modifieds, Holley USRA Stock Cars and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods.
Points will be kept for these classes separate from the track championship points and there will be a separate points fund in addition to the points funds from the national or track points funds awarded by the USRA.
To be eligible to share in the points fund, racers must compete in 75 percent of the races at both tracks. Each night one point will be awarded for first place in the main event, two points for second and so on. At the completion of the season for both tracks, the drivers with the lowest points will receive the Shootout first-place points fund and a huge trophy at the joint I-35 Speedway/U.S. 36 Raceway banquet on Nov. 4, 2017.
All drivers who compete in 75 percent of the races at each of the two tracks will share in the points fund and receive trophies.
