KASSON, Minn. -- Officials from the Dodge County Speedway in Kasson, Minn., have released the following schedule of events for the 2006 racing season:

March 11-12 ... Car Show at Austin Mall

April 30 ... Season Opener

May 7 ... Regular Show

May 14 ... Regular Show

May 21 ... Regular Show

May 28 ... USMTS Memorial Day Special

June 4 ... Regular Show

June 11 ... Regular Show

June 18 ... Regular Show

June 25 ... Regular Show

July 2 ... Regular Show

July 12 ... Fair Special

July 17 ... Fair Race

July 23 ... Regular Show

July 30 ... Regular Show

Aug. 6 ... Regular Show

Aug. 13 ... Regular Show/Car Show

Aug. 20 ... Regular Show

Aug. 27 ... Regular Show

Sept. 3 ... USMTS Labor Day Special

Oct. 6-7 ... End of Year Special

Racing every Sunday at the 1/3-mile semi-banked clay oval. Pit gates open at 3 p.m., grandstand gates open at 4, hot laps are at 5:45 and racing starts at 6 p.m. Regular weekly programs feature USRA Modifieds, along with Midwest Mods, Super Stocks and Street Stocks.

The new season is fast approaching as each day brings us closer to the April 30 season opener. The 2006 season promises to bring some exciting racing for the fans and drivers.

Come by and see us at the car show in the Austin Mall on March 11-12.
