Von, Buz, Dixie and Carl Kaster

WINSTON, Mo.—Last Saturday night witnessed great racing action on the fast and smooth 3/8th mile of dirt with side by side to the checkers finishes. Congratulations to all our drivers for a great show as they entertained the large crowd in attendance.

This week promises to be even better as we celebrate Kaster Night at the Races for all they have done to promote the sport. Last year Buz Kaster drove his way to a very emotional McCarthy Auto Group Victory Circle with his Family at his side. Race fans come on out and see the best of the best compete on this special night and see who wins the Kaster Awards of Excellence this year.

Last week we began taking donations for school supplies and the turnout was outstanding as we try to make this year even better than last. Each year we strive to give away as many backpacks, filled with school supplies, as possible to kids giving them a good start to the upcoming school year.

Remember that Trackside Bar & Grill is open before, during, and after the races for your dining pleasure. Funnel cake stand is in full swing with brownie bites added to the menu covered with ice cream, our main concession can serve great food for about any taste along with your favorite Coca Cola Product, so no one needs to go hungry or thirsty! If you are 21 years of age the Beer Shack stands ready to serve up an Ice Cold Brew to get you through the night!

Retuning to I-35 Speedway this week will be the always fast and entertaining Midwest Lightning Sprints. We have witnessed two different winners on the year in this class at Mark k. Billings #51 and Tom Brown #B20 have dominated thus far, will someone else step up and take the win, you will have to be there to know!

I-35 Speedway is located at exit 64 off Interstate 35 just north of Cameron, Missouri. Gates open 4:30 P.M., hot laps 6:15 P.M., racing starts 7:00 P.M. Adults $12, Seniors (62 and over) $10, Children 7 to 12 $6, younger than 7 free. Suite $18, Pit Passes $30. Saturday, July 25th join us for the 8th Annual Kaster Celebration Night at the Races plus Midwest Lightning Sprints with our six weekly classes of USRA Modifieds, USRA B-Mods, USRA Stock Cars, Grand Nationals, E-Mods, and Hobby Stocks. Every Saturday night at I-35 Speedway, where you get the most dirt track racing for your money, "Racing At It's Best"! TrackSide Bar & Grill opens at 2:00 p.m. on race day.
