Texas Outlaw Modified Series kicks off 2015 campaign April 17-18

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas—The Texas Outlaw Modified Series featuring USRA Modifieds will kick off the 2015 campaign this Friday, April 17, at the Mountain Creek Speedway in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Gates open at 6 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m. for the $1,500-to-win show.

The Mountain Creek Speedway is a high-banked 1/4-mile clay oval located 0.8 mile west of SR 12 on SR 180 (old US 180). For more information, visit www.mountaincreekspeedway.com.

Then on Saturday, April 18, the TOMS travels to the Lonestar Speedway in Kilgore, Texas, to take on NASCAR legend Ken Schrader and battle for a $2,000 top prize.

Producers of the popular TV program MegaSpeed will be filming live at Saturday's Lonestar Speedway event, and will be broadcast on one of their upcoming 2015 episodes.

MegaSpeed is now filming for its second season on Discovery Channel, and transports viewers on a six-episode high-intensity thrill ride, with each hour featuring multiple story arcs.

A special pre-race event will take place for race fans, so they can get up close and personal with Ken. The "Party with Ken" VIP passes are available at the link above, as well as all the pertinent details.

Pit gates open at 3 p.m., spectator gates open at 5 and hot laps begin at 7 p.m. Adult tickets are just $15 or $13 for seniors and members of the military. Kids ages 6-11 are $5 and children 5 and under get in for free. Pit passes are $30.
