Chase Domer took home his first Humboldt feature win of the year Friday night.

HUMBOLDT,Kan. -- Two weeks remain in the 2014 season at Humboldt Speedway, and points battles are tight at the Humboldt Speedway.

In USRA Modified action, Chase Domer took home his first Humboldt feature win of the year, holding off runner-up Jesse Folk Jr. Third went to Johnny Fennewald while Steven Bowers Jr. and Luke Driskell rounded out the top five.

Shawn Strong was unstoppable in the USRA B-Mods, leading all 16 feature laps. Tim Van Gotten was runner-up, followed by Riley Whitworth, Etan Isaacs and Blake Kisner.

Tyler James topped the USRA Stock Car feature, an epic dual that saw Patrick Kay finish second, Jeremy Wilson third, David Matlock fourth and Bryce Weldon fifth.

Friday at “The Hummer” was unique in that each lap of each feature was sponsored by an area business or race fan, and the leader of any particular lap received $25 thanks to sponsor generosity. As an example, Strong led all 16 laps, thus earning an extra $400 on top of pay off for the win.
