WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- The new Red River Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas, is pleased to announce the Grand Opening Bash coming Friday, July 25, at 8 p.m. The huge kick-off bash features seven divisions of racing at the completely renovated facility.

Race fans will enjoy a jam packed night of racing that includes Champ Sprints, USRA Modifieds, Limited Modifieds, Pro Stocks, Factory Stocks, Mini Stocks and Mini Mod/Mod 4s.

An excellent competitor purse is set for each division, with complete breakdown and division rules posted at the track website at www.RRSpeedway.com and on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/RedRiverSpeedway.

There has been a tremendous transformation of the facility over the past few years with massive construction work that is now completed. Fans and race teams will be greeted by lots of new concrete covered areas, new restrooms, scoreboard, lighting, food concession stands and much more.

RRS realizes this is a lot of racing for the first night, but felt it was only fair to include all divisions that will be competing regularly since the drivers have all been patiently waiting so long to get on the track. But the track plans to run the event as efficiently as possible, so fans will get to see a great night of racing action.

Due to the late start to the season, RRS is waiving all driver registration fees for the rest of the season. Drivers will need to fill out registration forms, but there will be no fees associated with it.

Pits open at 5 p.m., grandstands open at 6, draw cut off and drivers meeting at 7, track packing at 7:15, hot laps at 7:30, opening ceremonies at 7:55 and racing starts at 8.

Adult tickets are just $12 (ages 12-64) while dids are $5 (ages 6-11) and children 5 and under are free (with adult admission). Seniors and active military are just $8. All pit passes are $30.

No outside food, drinks and/or coolers are allowed through ticket gates. A full selection of economically priced food concessions, including beer, are available.
