HARTFORD, S.D. -- "It's been an awful good weekend," said Nick Wranek who won the USRA B-Mod main event Saturday night at the I-90 Speedway. Wranek started inside the fourth row and quickly caught up to Marty Myers. Wranek cleared Myers on the fifth lap and then outraced a tough Miah Christensen to the 15-lap victory.

Connor Vande Weerd led the first lap with Myers leading laps 2-4. Dennis Martin was third behind Christensen. Harvey Vande Weerd, fifth, and Dustin Kruse, seventh, each passed ten cars. Brock Hess, sixth, was able to increase his points lead to 50 over Dave Kennedy.

USRA Hobby Stock winner Don Brady Jr. said every restart presented a new challenge and, "I was hitting my marks," after he beautifully handled the slick track. Brady took the lead from Michael Pechous three laps into the 12-lapper. Brady virtually raced mistake free as plenty of great racing was going on behind him.

Defending champion Zach Olivier came from tenth to finish second. Points leader Mike Chaney raced hard to get from seventh to third. A fourth-place finish by Pechous was easily his best of the year.

I-90 Speedway welcomed a field of 22 Hobby Stocks.
