HARTFORD, S.D. -- Dave Kennedy, in search of his third consecutive feature win, wound up with little more than a headache in the night's USRA B-Mod main event Saturday at the I-90 Speedway.

On the fifth lap, Rodney Cook slowed and stopped on the front stretch while the leaders were coming up behind him. As drivers tried to check up, Kennedy collided with Shawn Reed and flipped. After multiple mulligans, another restart lap saw Miah Christensen upside down when he and Doug Wallis were involved in an accident between turns three and four.

Dennis Martin patiently waited through the yellow flags and eventually led all 15 laps to win his first I-90 Speedway feature since 2007. Brock Hess finished second and moved to within 10 points of Dave Kennedy atop the standings.

The USRA Hobby Stocks were also guilty of exceeding the track's time limit. Their race was cut by two laps to 10. The string of mishaps began when Travis Vanden Top spun in front of the field. The ensuing wreckage took Tim Waltner, Zach Olivier and Jim Ross out of the field.

Nick Brady led the first seven laps but Mike Chaney was too tough to tame on a restart on lap 8. Chaney's win was his second in as many weeks. Chad Lonneman came from 12th to second with a couple of nice passes late in the race.
