I-90 Speedway adds USRA Hobby Stocks to 2014 lineup
HARTFORD, S.D. -- I-90 Speedway will have two divisions of classes sanctioned with the United States Racing Association for the 2014 racing season.
The Hobby Stock division will now be USRA Hobby Stocks and the B-Mods will remain sanctioned by the USRA for the 2014 campaign.
All drivers in the USRA classes will be required to have a USRA license to race. Racers can purchase a Competitor License for the year or buy a Temporary License each race night. Drivers will earn track and national points either way, but will not be eligible for points funds without the Competitor License.
The USRA Hobby Stock points fund will now be the same as the USRA B-Mod points fund at I-90 Speedway. All points fund money will be from USRA.
I-90 Speedway will distribute the points fund checks at the 2014 awards banquet. All drivers with perfect attendance will be paid even if they are not in the top 10 final standings. If there is money left after paying all of the perfect attendance drivers, this money will be divided among the drivers in the top 10 season points.
All drivers can go to www.usraracing.com to purchase their 2014 Competitor License.
