Patriotic fireworks show to highlight Royal Purple Raceway action June 22

BAYTOWN, Texas -- For Royal Purple Raceway’s Dirt Track, it’s the biggest night of the year. It’s the most explosive night of the season. It’s a fan favorite.

The American Sprint Car Series will take center stage Saturday, June 22, for the Texas Outlaw Fireworks ASCS Sprint Car Nationals presented by Community Toyota. Also scheduled for the evening’s racing line-up will be the USRA Modifieds and USRA Limited Mods.

Not only will fans get to watch the side-by-side, wheel to wheel battles at speeds in excess of 120 mph, they will witness one of the largest fireworks celebrations in Royal Purple Raceway history.

“To join together these two great elements into one night’s show will be an awesome experience for our race fans,” said Dirt Track Manager Chris Teter. “This night is about honoring patriotism and celebrating our freedom.”

Track officials also announced that they will host a “Future Soldiers of America” swearing in ceremony during pre race activities.

Royal Purple Raceway is a great place to entertain the entire family. Along with the racing action, guest can walk through the fan midway or visit our souvenir shop. All night long everyone can enjoy great food and beverages from our popular concession stands including hot dogs, corn dogs, Papa John’s Pizza and our famous chocolate-covered funnel cakes.

Spectator gates open at 6 p.m. with racing action commencing at 7 p.m.

Complimentary grandstand tickets are now available by calling the Royal Purple Raceway ticket center at 281-383-7223. Spectator seating is general admission. Event parking is just $10.
