ALTOONA, Iowa -- The United States Racing Association will celebrate the 2012 season champions at this year’s awards banquet this Friday, Feb. 8, at the Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Altoona, Iowa.

The deadline for reserved tickets for this year’s ceremony is Monday, Feb. 4.

Tickets are $40 per person and include a Premier Dinner Buffet with the choice of three entrees and a cash bar, plus live entertainment following the awards ceremony. Tickets must be ordered in advance by Feb. 4 and will not be available at the door.

2012 USRA national champions Brandon Davis (USRA Modifieds), Mitch Hovden (USRA Stock Cars), Scot Drake (USRA B-Mods), Dillon Anderson (USRA Hobby Stocks) and others will be celebrated at this year’s gala.

Drivers competing in the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) will also be honored at the event which is open to drivers, fans, media and sponsors. Business casual attire is recommended (no jeans).

Social hour runs from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m., dinner will be from 7:15 to 8 p.m., the USRA awards presentations will take place from 8-9 p.m. and the USMTS awards will be handed out beginning at 9 p.m.
