ELMA, Wash. -- Grays Harbor Raceway is ready to continue the 2012 campaign with their next race closing out the month of September. The Saturday, Sept. 29, event will consist of 360 Sprints, USRA Modifieds, USAC Ford Focus Midgets, Hobby Stocks and Hornets on the card.

Former champions Scott Miller and Joe German continue to have the most victories in the USRA Modified ranks in 2012 with three wins each. The only other driver to have won on more than one occasion is Lawrence O’Connor while Tom Sweatman, Zack Simpson, Scott Lenz, Craig Moore and 2012 Shipwreck Beads Northwest Modified Nationals winner Mark Wauge have all won once.

Saturday night’s admission is the following: Adults $13.00, Senior (62+)/Juniors (15-18)/Military $10.00, Youths (6-14) $5.00, Youths (5 and Under) FREE, Family Pass (Two Adults and Up To Four Youths) $30.00, and Premium Seating $20.00. Gates open at 2:30 for the pits and 4:30 for the grandstands with racing starting at 6:30.

After the event there will be one more race left on the 2012 schedule. Saturday October 6th will mark the final race of the year and will be championship night for the USRA Modfieds, Hobby Stocks, and Hornets while Sportsman Sprints will be in the house.

The Grays Harbor Raceway is known for its high speeds and side by side racing as well asits large size. Hosting racing action from April to September regular classes include 360Sprints, USRA Modifieds, USAC Midgets, Hobby Stocks, and Hornets. In addition, the venuewill host the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series and American Sprint Car Series-NationalTour.
