The inaugural running of the USRA Southwest Stock Car Showdown at the Sandia Speedway in Albuquerque, N.M., happens Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 27 through March 1.

Featuring $10,000 to win the USRA Stock Car finale, it is the highest-paying race in the history of Albuquerque dirt track racing.

USRA B-Mods and Cruisers will be support classes for the event. Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national points will be awarded to drivers both USRA classes.

Paid USRA Stock Car pre-entries will have the opportunity to participate in the RaceOn Fan Save Provisional. Starting Feb. 18 on the RaceOn Facebook page. The two drivers with the highest number of votes that are not already in the show will receive the final two spots in the main event on Saturday night.

Voting begins Feb. 18, and your fans can help you make sure you’re in the show.

Pre-entry closes Feb. 15 for all three divisions. USRA Stock Cars are $250, USRA B-Mods are $100 and Cruisers are $75. The cost goes up $50 per class after the deadline. Click here to pre-enter.
