Lucas Oil Speedway seeks Anthem singers, car clubs, vendors for 2025 season

As the 2025 Lucas Oil Speedway season approaches, there are several ways for fans to be involved and be an integral part of the festivities.

The opening ceremony prior to each Pitts Homes and Realty Weekly Racing Series program along with some special events is one of the speedway’s long-standing traditions. Those with singing ability can apply to perform the National Anthem by submitting a demo video to Marketing and Media Director Laurie Looney via email at llooney@lucasoilspeedway.com.

Other activities at the speedway include:

Car, Motorcycle Clubs: Another popular activity over the years is Car Clubs or Motorcycle Clubs to show off their vehicles during a night at the races. The vehicles will be displayed on the south end of the Midway.

The speedway will publicize the appearance in pre-race press releases the week of the event. Clubs and their members need to arrive by 4 p.m. on race day as a group to set up on the Midway. Those interested can also contact Looney at Llooney@lucasoilspeedway.com or at (417) 295-6048.

Vendor spots: There is room on the Midway for non-food and non-drink vendors throughout the season where businesses can sell their products.

Booth spaces are available in 10 x 10 foot, 10 x 20 and 10 x 30 sizes, with or without electric. There are spots available for one-day shows, plus two-day and three-day events. Prices start at $150 for the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series events.

Applications are accepted on the speedway's website and will be reviewed and Looney will make contact to let the applicant know if approved.

Media Day reminder: Media members are reminded that the track is holding a Media Day luncheon on Wednesday, March 12. Some drivers will be available for interviews with tours of the facility available, along with rides around the dirt track in the Lucas Oil Speedway 2-Seater Late Model. There also will be some rides around the Off Road track in the Lucas Oil Speedway UTV 4-Seater Razor.

Details on the starting time and complete itinerary will be finalized in upcoming weeks. Media members who would like to attend can RSPV to Lucas Oil Speedway PR Director Lyndal Scranton at Lscranton755@gmail.com.

Media members also can submit a credential application form on the speedway website.

Open Test and Tune set for March 15th: Weekly racing in the Pitts Homes and Realty Weekly Racing Series at Lucas Oil Speedway will feature five divisions - Hermitage Lumber Late Models, Arctic Food Equipment USRA Modifieds, O'Reilly Auto Parts USRA Stock Cars, Clear Creek Golf Cars USRA B Mods and the new Hickamo Country Store Super Stocks.

The 2025 schedule is scheduled to fire up March 22nd with March Full Body Madness after Open Test & Tune on March 15th from 6-9 p.m.
