Rain ends Sunset Speedway Park night prematurely

BANKS, Ore. -- On Sunday, the Sunset Speedway Park was unable to completely beat out the weather and only a handful of classes completed their features.

For the USRA Modifieds only time trials and heat races were completed as well as a trophy dash. Robert Jenner was quick time at 14.826 seconds, heat race winners were Tony Hendon, Ricky Ashley and Danny Daniels, while the evening’s trophy dash was won by Jenner.

The USRA Modifieds return into action at the Sunset Speedway Park take Saturday, June 2, off but will return into action on the following Saturday, June 9, for Fan Appreciation Night.
