BANKS, Ore. -- The Sunset Speedway Park is ready for a busy Memorial Day Weekend this Saturday and Sunday, May 26-27, for two consecutive days of racing action.  With two races already in the books the Banks bullring will have six different classes compete over the course of two nights.

Saturday will have the return of the Northwest Extreme Sprint Car Series along with USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks and Tracers in action. Then on Sunday the Sprints will return with the USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks and the Womens classification in competition.

The USRA Modifieds saw Clint Petty pick up the victory on May 12.

For both days the front gates open up at 3:30 with racing scheduled to start at 6:00 on Saturday night. Admission is $13 for adults, seniors are $10, kids ages 6-12 are  $5 and children 5 and under are free. A Family Pack (2 Adults and 2 Children) is $30 for both nights as well.

The Sunset Speedway Park is located just west of the Portland metro area in Banks on the Sunset Highway.  The venue is located in a gorgeous small town setting with rolling hills in the background and hosts weekly competition with Northwest Extreme Sprint Car Series, Northwest Wingless Tour, USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, 4-Bees, Pure Stocks, Womens, and Tracers classes.
