Springfield Raceway prepares for Military Honor USRA Modified 25
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Springfield Raceway promoters Jerry Hoffman and Doug Bland have announced that the "Quick-Quarter" will be hosting the inaugural Military Honor 25 for the USRA Modifieds on Saturday, May 26, with the winner taking home $800 and $100 to start the main event.
This event will feature a full night of Transport Graphics Championship Chase events with all classes scheduled to compete.
The Budweiser USRA Modifieds highlight the features each week at Springfield and provides some of the best Modified racing across the Midwest each week as they battle for USRA track and national points.
The USRA Modifieds will open draw to set up qualifying heat races and will qualify through passing points to set up the feature line-up. The top 8 points-earners will redraw for the first four rows in the 25-lap feature.
There will be a $25 entry fee and pit passes will be $25.
Pit gates will open around 4:00 with drivers draw cut-off at 6:15. Any driver checking in after cut-off will start tail back in a heat, but will receive no passing points. Hot laps will start at 6:00 and drivers meeting will be at 5:40.
Supporting the Military Honor event will be USRA B-Mods, Midwest Modz, Legends, Young Lions, Pure Stocks and Street Stocks, with regular Springfield line-up procedures and rules applying.
