About the USRA

The United States Racing Association (USRA) was formed in 2002 with a mission of fair competition with smart, cost-effective rules that are not built around manufacturer kickbacks, but rather for cost savings without sacrificing speed.

Our goal is to boost fan attendance at each sanctioned racetrack with sound marketing strategies and lucrative sponsorship dollars for each Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series racetrack.

Made in the USA, the American Racer KK704 is the Official Tire of the USRA and a time-tested high-quality product proven to maintain a level playing field among competitors and reign in costs for competitors. Our partnership with American Racer Racing Tires benefits both USRA racetracks and racers.

Through the support of dozens of national, regional and local sponsors, the USRA is able to provide track, regional and national points funds that are second to none in grassroots dirt track racing.

Thousands of racers compete in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series each year as they vie for some of the best weekly purses and highest points funds at some of the most elite dirt track facilities in America.

The USRA currently sanctions eight divisions—USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Late Models, USRA Hobby Stocks, USRA Limited Mods, Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks and USRA Tuners—at some of the finest speedways in America.

The 12th Annual Summit USRA Nationals happens Sept. 30 through Oct. 4 at the legendary Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo., featuring USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks and USRA Tuners in their Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national points finales.

The 6th Annual Summit USRA Southern Nationals returns to the Boothill Speedway in Greenwood, La., from Oct. 16-18, featuring USRA Limited Mods and Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks in their final Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national points event.
