The USRA Casey’s General Stores Weekly Racing Series was in action Wednesday at the Southern Iowa Speedway in support of the O'Reilly USMTS Modifieds. Season Opener - USRA Casey’s General Stores Weekly Racing Series
The Southern Iowa Speedway saw a healthy field of 67 cars checked in Wednesday night to take on the Mahaska County Half-Mile Monster for the first time in 2008. New weekly ticket prices of $7 for adults ($2 less than last year) attracted a large crowd for the season-opener, and the addition of a new Kid’s Club was a big hit with the young fans. view photos

One streak came to an end, while another was extended on Primrose Realty and Kay Eggleston Bookkeeping Night at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo. Tony Fraise (USRA Modifieds) snapped Michael Long's winning streak, while Wyatt Lantz (USRA B-Mods) added to his winning streak on Saturday night. Davis County Fair sponsored by the Davis County Bank
It was another great night of racing Friday during the Davis County Fair sponsored by the Davis County Bank at the Mountain Dew Bloomfield Speedway. The drivers went through the stands at intermission to collect money for Cody Townsend, who was burned while racing at the Speedway a few weeks ago. Townsend was on hand to receive the $1,400 collected for him. view photos

The USRA Casey’s General Stores Weekly Racing Series was in action Friday, July 6, for the second night of the Great American Stock Car Classic presented by Kabrick Distributing at the Cresco Speedway. 14th Annual Greiner Buildings Stock Car Shootout
The 14th Annual Greiner Buildings Stock Car Shootout presented by Mike’s Tire & Alignment and PBM Performance Products was held on Wednesday night, July 4, at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa. The USRA Stock Car main event went to Zack VanderBeek, taking his second win of the night and capping off an outstanding performance with the $2,000 top prize. view photos

USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series - Pro-Line Buildings Night
The USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series at the Southern Iowa Speedway featured four classes with the night being sponsored by Pro-Line Buildings of New Sharon, along with the "Preacher Feature" on the card. The fans got a chance to win some cool prizes from the Pro-Line Buildings gang who gave away T-shirts, hats and other items. view photos
