OSKALOOSA, Iowa – The fireworks start early this weekend as a thrilling doubleheader is on tap for this Wednesday and Thursday, June 30-July 1, at the legendary half-mile clay oval in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

On Wednesday, Racemart presents the American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series featuring USRA RHS Modifieds, USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars, USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks.

Pits open at 5 p.m., grandstands open at 5:30, hot laps begin at 7:15 and racing starts at 7:30 p.m.

On Thursday, MARS invades the Southern Iowa Speedway as the stars and cars of the MARS DIRTcar Series are bringing a field loaded with the nation’s top late model drivers for a $3,000-to-win slobber-knocker at the historic Mahaska County Monster. Also on the racing card will be the USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mods and USRA Hobby Stocks.
