Ice Buster at I-35 Speedway live on RacinDirt

RacinDirt has a busy weekend of racing planned with various divisions highlighted across the country. One of the most anticipated events is the inaugural Ice Buster slated for Saturday, March 19, at the I-35 Speedway in Winston, Mo.

Featuring the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series and highlighted by the USRA Modified division, the I-35 Speedway has become a staple Midwestern track, regularly contesting events from March through October.

Four divisions will be in action this Saturday, including USRA Modifieds, Medieval USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods and E-Mods.

“We're thrilled to have the opportunity to work with (track owners) Mike and Kyle Johnson in this capacity,” said RacinDirt CEO Trenton Berry. “They were the first race track to welcome us in back in 2010 when we started this wild venture. We knew they were genuine and good people. Honestly we had nothing to offer them. They just wanted to help us make it.

"Through the years we've grown as a company, those memories and people, who were right there from the very beginning are so special to Austin (Krueger) and I. Mike and Kyle have laid out a great event at the perfect time of the year.”

In anticipation of this weekend's race, a pair of practice events were held. The first session boasted around 150 cars testing for the upcoming season. Many of those competitors are expected this weekend. The pits will open at 4 p.m. with the grandstands opening at 5. Racing is slated for 7.

Admission is $20 for adults or $15 for seniors (62+) and military. Youth 18 and younger (ID may be requested) are free.

The track boasts excellent on-site food, with the Trackside Bar & Grill located in turn one providing one of the best experiences in dirt racing.
