Planning for the 65th anniversary season of racing at the Chateau Speedway in Lansing, Minnesota, has been ongoing since the season ended and is starting to come together. All of the specials that fans have enjoyed the last several years are back on the schedule as well as several exciting new specials which have been put in for 2021.

Back of course is the signature Spirit of 83 Memorial on Friday May 28, with the running of the 23rd Mike Guttormson Memorial USRA Modified feature.

The track will also host the 3rd Annual Autumn Extravaganza on Friday and Saturday, Octobe 1-2. The two-night special gives drivers a chance to run for a third payout for the top 10 drivers in each class for the weekend.

Another two-day special has been added on Friday and Saturday, June 25-26, for the WISSOTA Midwest Modified vs. USRA B-Mod Challenge. After running complete shows on each night with heats and features for regular track, regional and national points, the two classes will share a bonus feature Saturday with the top eight cars from each sanctioning body gunning for bragging rights.

There will also be a special national points night for drivers on Friday, September 10, following Season Championship Night one week earlier.

The track's season opener is scheduled for Friday, May 7, with seven regular classes taking to the dirt, headlined by the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series featuring USRA Modifieds and USRA B-Mods.

Twenty-five nights of racing are on the schedule for the track which has thrilled fans on the banks of the Cedar River since 1956.

Grandstand admission for regular race nights this year for will be $10 for adults. Juniors will once again be $5 with kids under 5 free. Pit passes will once again be $25 on regular race nights.
