Mississippi Thunder Speedway's preparations for the 2021 season have created an extremely exciting schedule for the upcoming year.

The release of scheduling details has painted a picture of what promises to be yet another amazing and exciting season-long celebration of action at the fast, wide and racy big 1/3-mile dirt oval.

Situated just a lightning strike away from the banks of the mighty Mississippi River that creates the border between West Central Wisconsin and Southeastern Minnesota, Mississippi Thunder Speedway has become a "must visit" destination for racers and fans alike, and the 2021 schedule will amp up the excitement level for another season of fun.

Four events paying at least $10,000 to win during the season will ensure that race fans will see the “best of the best” visiting Mississippi Thunder Speedway throughout the year in their attempts to cash-in with a celebration in victory lane.

Additional high-dollar special events sprinkled throughout the 22-event schedule will guarantee fans plenty of nights to cheer the competition towards victory.

After a pre-season shakedown practice session on Wednesday, April 21, the schedule revs up to speed compliments of the 13th annual Season Opener presented by Kelly Iverson Trucking on Friday, April 23.

Hitting the high-banks for the first green flag of the season will be four regular Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series divisions—Rivercity Manufacturing USRA Modifieds, Centerville Welding & Repair USRA Late Models presented by Big Toy Storage, Black Horse Bar & Grill USRA B-Mods and Jailhouse Saloon USRA Hobby Stocks—plus Sunshine Refuse MTS Hornets.

Other USRA-sanctioned spotlight events guaranteed to inject high-octane excitement directly into the grandstands through the 22-event season include a USRA Late Model Special presented by RJ's Fast Tracks & Two Brother's Auto on July 16, the 2nd annual K-Town Klash on July 30.

Mississippi Thunder Speedway will be bringing back the extremely popular Free County Fans Night promotion. During these eight special evenings, race fans from specific area counties will enjoy absolutely free grandstand admission (with proper ID) to enjoy the evening's excitement:

August 6 and August 27 will be retained as Free County Fans Night rain dates if needed.
