Five straight for Jackson in Lebanon

Defending and two-time USRA B-Mod national champion Kris Jackson of Lebanon used lapped traffic to get around leader Dillon McCowan on lap 10 and went to record his fifth straight win Friday night at the Lebanon Midway Speedway.

The 20-lap feature went caution-free as drivers are gearing up for the upcoming TJR Factory 56 USRA B-Mod Nationals next weekend.

McCowan jumped to the early lead from the pole with Jackson in close tow and the battle for third was fast and furious with Jackie Dalton, Wesley Briggs, J.C. Newell and a tight pack battling.

With the quick pace set by the leaders of the 17-car field, the front pack was quickly hitting traffic.

McCowan came upon traffic and hesitated for just a second as Jackson swung to the extreme top side off turn four and made the winning move. McCowan gained some ground back but just couldn't pull close enough.

Following the lead duo was a tight race for third and Newell made a low groove pass on Dalton to secure a podium spot on lap 16 while Briggs completed the top five.

McCowan and Jackson captured the heat race wins.
