Jackson pulls off late-race pass for Lebanon win

Lebanon's Kris Jackson pulled off a lap-13 move around leader Brian Myers in grabbing the USRA B-Mod feature presented by S&S U-Pull-It Auto Parts & Recycling on Friday night at the Lebanon Midway Speedway.

It was his sixth feature win at the track and fourth in a row.

Jackson started the feature in the 11th starting spot as Myers and Tyler Knudtson brought the pack to the green. Myers grabbed the opening lead as Knudtson, Dustin Atkinson and Austin Seets followed closely.

A couple of early cautions kept everyone close as Myers was spot on for the restarts. Knudtson and Seets waged a close battle for second during the long green run following a lap-three caution.

Myers started pull away as Jackson moved into second by lap seven and begin to close up ground while third-place action was hot and heavy.

With a clear track ahead, Jackson pulled to Myers's quarter panel and the duo went for the top spot until lap 13 when Jackson made the high side pass off turn four to take the lead.

Myers rallied to close ground but Jackson stayed smooth in taking the win with Myers, Knudtson, Seets and current track points leader Dillon McCowan completing the top five.

USRA B-Mod action continues next Friday, August 28, along with Pure Stocks, Midwest Mods, Hornets and a 100-lap enduro with racing action at 8 p.m.
