USRA Late Models in Mississippi Thunder Speedway spotlight Friday

The Mississippi Thunder Speedway returns to action on the big 1/3 mile in Fountain City, Wis., this Friday, August 14, with a huge USRA Late Model special presented by RJ's Fast Tracks and Two Brother's Auto.

USRA Late Models will race for a minimum of $1,000 to win and $100 to start.

USRA Modifieds are back on the schedule for this Friday too. MTS planned to take them off with the Ogilvie Raceway hosting a three-day USMTS show but unfortunately that event has been cancelled so USRA Modifieds are back on the schedule in Fountain City.

MTS Free County Night #5 is hsi Friday. If you are from Eau Claire County (Wis.), Pepin County (Wis.), Goodhue County (Minn.), Wabasha County (Minn.), Chickasaw County (Iowa) or Howard County (Iowa) you get grandstand admission into the races for free when you present a valid ID or proof of residence in one of these counties.

Front gates open at 5:30 p.m.
MTS Happy Hour from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.
Driver draw cutoff at 7:15 p.m.
Racing begins at 7:30 p.m.
