Current USRA B-Mod national points leader and defending track champion Dillon McCowan took the lead from Dayton Pursley at the halfway point of the S&S U-Pull-It Auto Parts feature event to gather his fourth win this season at the Lebanon Midway speedway in an action-packed feature which saw three different leaders and close racing throughout the pack.

Last season's track runner-up, Tyler Knudtson, got the hole shot at the start of the feature as second-generation racer Pursley applied pressure while McCowan went from the fifth starting spot to third quickly.

Knudtson found his lead go by the wayside as Pursley dove to the low side on lap five while McCowan was working the top side and also advanced one extra spot as Pursley was looking strong on the low side.

This hard fought battle lasted three laps as McCowan used the cushion up high on lap 8 just as the halfway flags showed the field.

As the lead duo started to pull a little distance, Knudtson found the No. 360 of John Seets III putting on the pressure for third while Dustin Atkinson was coming quickly to the race for third.

The only caution waved on lap 13 as Jay Flinn slowed in turn two with driveshaft issues.

With Pursley picking the groove as Sheets had pulled alongside on the restart, Sheets got the spot as McCowan went back top side and Pursley stayed close as Atkinson put pressure on Knudtson for the spot.

At the checkered, McCowan gathered the win with Pursley scoring yet another runner-up finish followed by Seets, Atkinson and Knudtson.

Eagle Machine provided a lottery draw spot for the evening as Knudtson and Phillip Jackson took home some extra cash for their efforts.

Qualifying heat race wins went to McCowan and Atkinson while the redraw placed a three-row inversion tonight.

Action continues next Friday with the mighty USRA B-Mod helping headline the racing action. Any driver who has not competed at Midway in 2020 will have their pit pass paid for.

Racing also includes Late Models (Cash Money rules), Pure Stocks, Midwest Mods and front-wheel-drive Hornets with racing at 8 p.m.
