Ryan Olson won the USRA B-Mod main event.

Lucas Schott knows how to race and win. After winning the second heat race earlier in the evening, the Chatfield, Minn., driver turned in the feature's fastest lap en route to the win Friday night to wrap up the two-day Rivercity Rumble at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway.

Jacob Bleess tried mightily but couldn't catch Schott and settled for his second straight second-place finish. Cory Crapser fended off challenges by John Doelle to cross the line in third while Josh Angst came from 16th to finish fifth.

Ryan Olson's fire raged for the third straight USRA B-Mod feature. Amazing speed and smooth mastery of the high groove helped Olson to his third straight feature win.

Taylor Skauge continues to show speed and raced his way up to a second-place finish with Shaun Walski once again settling for third at the checkers.

Not even starting last was enough to keep Travis Krause out of victory lane as he used a clean no-contact three-wide pass in turn two to move his No. 01 to the lead and the eventual win in the Mensink Racing Products USRA Hobby Stocks.

Cody Rolling enjoyed the best feature finish ever of his short career, crossing the line a single second behind Krause with first heat race winner Chris Hovden finishing third.

Mississippi Thunder Speedway returns to green-flag action next Friday, July 10, with another full schedule of racing. Opening ceremonies at 7:30 p.m. will be followed by green flag action from USRA Modifieds, USRA Late Models, USRA B-Mods and Mensink Racing Products USRA Hobby Stocks plus Sunshine Refuse MTS Hornets.

Adult grandstand admission is just $15. Seniors (65+) are only $13, college students and teens (13-230 are $5 anbd children 12 and under are free.
