Darron Fuqua won the USRA Modified main event.

Chanute's Kenton Allen went head to head with Lansing speed merchant Jake Richards with the two exchanging the Ray’s Metal Depot USRA B-Mod feature lead on multiple occasions with Richards wrestling out the win in the closing laps.

Allen was a strong runner-up with Tyler Kidwell in third, Matthew Kay fourth and Jerry Morgan of Fort Scott fifth.

ARMI USRA Modifieds were on hand and Darron Fuqua of Mayetta turned in a thriller of a performance, taking the win over the 16-car field wire to wire.

Wichita hot shoe Tanner Mullens nailed down second with Tyler Wolff of Fayetteville, Ark., claiming third, Cody Jolly of Jasper, Mo., fourth, and Terry Schultz of Sedalia, Mo., in fifth.

For his efforts, Fuqua banked a cool $1,000 in the event.

Jake Richards won the USRA B-Mod main event.

Post-race, the Humboldt Speedway cast of thousands was treated to a spectacular professional fireworks display sponsored by the Humboldt Speedway. Next Friday, July 3, will be a bye week at The Hummer, with action resuming the following Friday, July 10, at 8 p.m.
