South Texas Speedway rained out June 27

After a week of unsettled weather that left the race track mostly spared of the heavy local rainfall that struck the Coastal Bend, a mid-afternoon Friday deluge of rain has cancelled Dos Equis Night scheduled for Saturday, June 27.

The skies opened up above South Texas Speedway around 1:30 and dumped a sizeable shower, forcing track officials to cancel the weekend event.

South Texas Speedway plans to get back to action with a doubleheader Friday-Saturday, July 10-11.
