“Whitey” Folk juggernaut rolls on at Humboldt Speedway
HUMBOLDT, Kan. - The irresistible force that is Justin "Whitey" Folk continues at Humboldt Speedway, as the man scored another USRA Modified feature win Friday night.
It might be good though, if you're "Whitey" Folk, that the top six heat finishers drew for starting position.
Things really open up for the guy that draws number 1 out of the hat, and your older brother, Jess Jr., is stuck with number 6, even though he's got a rocket ship for a race car.
So, "Whitey" wins wire to wire, and big brother is runner-up.
It might also be good for both Folks brothers that there was only one yellow flag in the race, because Johnny Bone Jr. was in third and going like the proverbial house on fire.
Finishing a strong fourth was Rodney Sigg, while Dan Daniels was fifth.
Next Friday, Aug. 29, will be the last night of the 2008 season and will feature the annual powder puff derby.
