Buffalo Creek Speedway racing Friday, finishing Factory Stock Blast Sunday


The Buffalo Creek Speedway in Edgewood, Texas, will host a regular night of racing this Friday, May 29, and will follow that up on Sunday with the completion of the "Free at Last" Factory Stock Blast which was cut short on May 1.

Both days will feature the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series with Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks, USRA Limited Mods and USRA Tuners headlining the action along with Texas Stocks and Dwarf Cars.

Sunday's "Free at Last" Factory Stock Blast makeup will complete the Friday night, May 1, feature that was cut short by curfew. The top 8 is the makeup preliminary feature will move on to the $1,500-to-win feature and running a complete show following. This will count as two nights of USRA points and registration is closed for both shows for Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks only. All other classes will be open to join.

Friday night's races will begin at 7:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30. On Sunday, gates will open at 1 p.m. and the show gets started at 4 p.m.

The pits will be open Saturday evening for competitors and/or fans wishing to camp.

Social distancing will be enforced and 25% capacity in stands will be mandatory.
