Monarch Motor Speedway suffers second rain-out in two days

Sunday night's special event featuring the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series and Elite Non-Wing Sprint Car Series at the Monarch Motor Speedway has been canceled due to wet grounds and inclement weather.

Rain once again is forecast for the Wichita Falls, Texas, area right at hot laps and then ramping up through the evening.

Up next on the Monarch Motor Speedway schedule is Friday, May 29, with the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series featuring USRA Modifieds, USRA Limited Mods, Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks and USRA Tuners joining the Sooner Late Model Series and Stock Cars.

Racing next Friday begins at 8 p.m.
