I-35 Speedway opener set

The 2020 season opener for the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series at the I-35 Speedway will be held Saturday, May 9, and will feature USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods plus Midwest Limited Late Models.

Gates open at 4 p.m. and racing begins at 7.

The six-foot social distancing requirement will be enforced for the safety of our staff, drivers and spectators. Grandstands will be marked accordingly.

We ask that all patrons follow the CDC guidelines:

• If you are sick, please stay home.
• Wash your hands and use hand sanitizer which will be placed throughout the facility.
• Wearing a mask is encouraged (bring your own with you).
• When in lines, please maintain social distancing.
