Springfield Raceway season on hold

With the issues at hand across the world at this time, some restrictions on businesses have been handed down from the government.

"I just got off the phone with the Missouri Governors office in Jefferson City," promoter Jerry Hoffman said. "I have to admit they was very nice in our conversation. They told me today the mandated order goes in to affect for all of Missouri: No gathering of more than 10 people."

The penalty for not complying with the mandate is a fine, jail time and your business license could be pulled.

So with the seriousness and concern of others, we will open the Springfield Raceway when the time is right.

"We will update our schedule when we find out what is going on. Thank you to all the drivers and race fans that have supported the Springfield Raceway."
