2020 online registration open for USRA racers

Registration is open for drivers who will compete in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series during the 2020 calendar year.

All competitors at a USRA-sanctioned event must possess either a USRA Competitor License or USRA Temporary License prior to participating in the event.

USRA Competitor Licenses must be purchased online at usraracing.com/register or by calling the USRA headquarters at (515) 832-6000.

Drivers competing in a USRA-sanctioned events are eligible to earn track, regional and national points in the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series from January 1 through the first week of November.

During the Summit USRA Nationals (October 1-3) and Summit USRA Southern Nationals (November 5-7), track and regional points will not be awarded for the divisions competing in those events, and national points will be awarded at those events only.

The cost of a USRA Competitor License for the 2020 calendar year is $130 for Modifieds, $110 for Stock Cars, $110 for Late Models, $100 for B-Mods, $100 for Hobby Stocks, $100 for Factory Stocks, $100 for Limited Mods and $60 for Tuners.

All licenses fees will increase by $20 beginning March 1. Competitors must purchase a USRA Competitor License on or before June 30 or will get just one-half of the points funds the driver is eligible for. Modified, Stock Car, B-Mod and Hobby Stock racers must designate their intention to be eligible for rookie status when registering for their USRA Competitor License.

Alternatively, drivers may purchase a USRA Temporary License for $10 which is valid for one (1) event only. Drivers opting to purchase a USRA Temporary License will earn the same points as those with a USRA Competitor License. The purchase of a USRA Temporary License does not apply toward the cost of a USRA Competitor License if one is purchased later. USRA Member Racetracks will only offer USRA Temporary Licenses for purchase.

To be eligible for national points funds, a driver must have competed in at least half of the events held at any one USRA-sanctioned racetrack (minimum of 8 events with a minimum of 4 starts). To be eligible for track points funds, driver must have competed in at least half of the events held at that racetrack for which the points funds are being awarded.
