Free admission at I-35 Speedway this Saturday

Admission to the grandstands if free this Saturday, Sept. 7, at the I-35 Speedway. You don’t need a ticket. Just show up, bring your best buddies, bring the family, bring mom and dad, bring the extended family, bring your church, bring your town, bring your co-workers, bring your boss, fire up the bus and bring the entire school, bring all your Facebook friends, bring your favorite person who has never seen a race, because it's free.

Pro-Ag is this week’s sponsor. It is also the Mike Knight Celebration where we share our memories of our long-time friend and dirt track prep guru. At intermission there will be a balloon release and music in honor of Mr. Knight.

Race cars in action will be the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series featuring the USRA Modifieds, American Racer USRA Stock Cars and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods. Also racing will be Pure Stocks, E Mods, Sport Compacts, Late Models and the Midwest Outlaw Vintage Racers. Additionally, the Power Wheel racers will take the track at intrmission.

Hot laps begin at 6:20 p.m. with races starting at 7. Come early and grab your favorite seat.

I-35 Speedway is located at exit 64 and the track is just quarter-mile east of the interstate. Super easy access. In addition to grandstands being free, parking is always free. Funnel cakes, beverages of your choice, large tenderloins, hot fries, walking tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, all available throughout the facility. Enjoy dinner overlooking turn 1 at the Trackside Bar and Grill. Always clean restrooms, best racing value for your motorsports entertainment (where else can you beat free). Speaking of where else, where else would you be on Saturday night other than I-35 Speedway?
