USRA Modifieds, B-Mods part of Tri-State Speedway's "Showdown"

It's that crazy hot time of the summer when the mighty Tri-State Speedway cranks up the payout to match the temps for the 21st Annual Super Stock Showdown honoring John Stand presented by Shamrock Bolt & Screw.

The event will start on Thursday night, July 18, with an open practice session from 6-10 p.m. for everyone that wants to participate. Stands are free and pit passes are only $15.

Friday, July 19, will feature heats and qualifying features for the Super Stocks as well as a complete points show for the USRA Modifieds with Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series track and national points plus points in the CP-Carrillo Central Region presented by MVT.

The huge event wraps up on Saturday, July 20, with last chance qualifying features and the big 50-lap feature for the Super Stocks, as well as a full points show for Factory Stocks and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods battling for Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series track and national points plus points in the CP-Carrillo Central Region presented by MVT.

We'll also honor the late John Stand with a memorial parade lap at the start of the evening.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m. with stands opening at 6 and hot laps at 7:30 each night with racing to follow.

Admission on Friday will be $30/$15 for the pits and $10 for adults in the stands with kids 10 & under getting in free.

Saturday night pit passes will be $35/$15 and the stands will be $15 for adults with kids 10 & under getting in free.

Seniors will get a $2 discount each night on stand admission.
