Weather wins again at Legit Speedway Park

After an entire spring of wet weather it looked like we would finally get a night of racing in based on the forecast. Much like the entire week had gone, the forecast was wrong again as a sudden storm boiled up with a tremendous lightning show. Even as we only got sprinkles on the track, Saturday's show had to be called due to the lightning.

We will finish the show on the next scheduled weekly race, July 13, which we hope is a much safer night. That is $5 Night for spectators so you will get to see even more racing for only five dollars. We will run the remaining part of Saturday night's show, including the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod main event, first immediately after hot laps then the new show to follow.

We will hot lap at 5:30 p.m.—one hour early that night. All classes will run. Both features will pay out that night for one admission price. Anyone with any questions can call promoter Gary Stolba at (417) 252-1904.
