Defending Lebanon Midway Out-Pace USRA B-Mod track champion Sam Petty made the jump from 3rd to the top of the points standings after last week's Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action and also vaulted himself to the top of the national standings.

Entering last week third in the standings, Petty was able to capitalize on current track points leader Kris Jackson not on hand and Tyler Knudtson's 16th-place finish to move up the ladder with his runner-up finish behind winner Cole Campbell. The track standings were shuffled as Jackson fell to fourth while Dillion McCowan moved up to third. Petty's advantage over Knudtson is 27 points going into this Sunday's Tony Roper Memorial.

The 19th Annual Tony Roper Memorial is set for Sunday, May 26, with $500 up for grabs for the winner of the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod feature and $50 to start the main event. Drivers who compete in a B-Main and don't advance with receive $35. Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national and regional points are up for grabs.

FK Rod Ends will award a $100 bonus to the race's hard charger who advances the most positions from starting position to finishing position in the feature.

Drivers will draw for heat race spots with passing points being used to help set the feature line-ups. Action for the Tony Roper Memorial will also include the Malvern Bank Cash Money Late Model Series, Pure Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, front-wheel-drive Hornets and Kidz Cruisers.

Pit gates will open at 4:30 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30, openings ceremonies at 7:25 and racing at 7:30. Grandstand gates open at 5 p.m.
