Myers ready to tackle 2019 Out-Pace USRA B-Mods with new ride

Lebanon, Mo.'s Brian Myers had a solid season last year at the Lebanon Midway Speedway, finishing fourth in the Out-Pace USRA B-Mods presented by U-Pull-It Auto Parts. Racing week after week on Friday nights against the likes of Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series National Champion Kris Jackson, track champion Sam Petty, Tyler Knudtson, Tyler Brown, Donnie Jackson and a host of other hard chargers, it was no easy task.

During the fall season at a special event, Myers destroyed his Martin’s 1-Stop Deli & Grocery No. 16M while challenging for position during his second round of heat races after winning his first round heat. It left the team busy during the off-season and Myers is ready to roll with his new car to debut Friday night at Midway for the $500-to-win Spring Fling as track points will start that evening.

Myers has captured the Best Appearing Car Award presented by track photographer Shonda Grindstaff for the last two seasons.

"We have put a lot of work and Tony Jackson at TJR Racing in Lebanon has been busy getting everyone's cars ready," Myers said. "I think this might be the best car I have ever had in the B-Mod class. I can't wait to roll it out Friday night. The wrap was getting ready to placed on it and Brian wanted it to be a surprise to everyone when it hits the track for the first race of 2019.

"I'm lucky to have the support I have in local sponsors, my dad Craig Myers and C & S Towing, Ruble Racing Engines, TTT Cleaning, Martin’s 1-Stop and many others, especially my kids, family and friends."

Lebanon Midway Speedway will start action this Friday, March 29, with the Spring Fling featuring Out-Pace USRA B-Mods racing for $500 to win. Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing to start at 8. For more information check out the Facebook page or website.
