Danny Martin Trucking adds cash to USRA Modified winner at Springfield with 20 or more entries

Danny Martin Trucking and 33 Racing has announced that if 20 or more USRA Modifieds compete this Saturday at the Springfield Raceway during the Salute to Granny/Back to School Night, that the feature winner will receive $1,000 in addition to his or her normal winnings.

The USRA Modifieds have headlined the high-banked quarter-mile dirt oval for many seasons and Martin wants to keep the competition level even tighter than it normally is.

Currently, West Branson's Jody Tillman leads the track points standings while James Thompson rides second. Saturday will be a normal track points race with track, regional and USRA Summit Weekly Racing Series national points awarded. Open draw for heats and passing points help set the line-ups.

The Out-Pace USRA B-Mods presented by Reliable Chevrolet are competing for $1,000 to win and $100 to start with the same procedures, except the top 10 in passing points will redraw, and they do have a car entry fee.

Action will also feature Pure Stocks, Midwest Modz and Legends with racing to start at 7:30, hot laps at 7 and draw cut-off at 6:50. Pit passes are $30 while adult grandstand admission is only $15.
