Lebanon Midway preparing for June 15 Out-Pace USRA B-Mod Challenge


The inaugural Out-Pace USRA B-Mod Challenge at the Lebanon Midway Speedway will offer $777 to win the feature event on Friday night, June 15. The event will be presented by S&S U-Pull-It Auto Parts of Lebanon.

Former Out-Pace USRA B-Mod racer Toby Thompson has been so busy with his family business that he felt this was a great year to jump on as title sponsor for the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod class at Lebanon Midway.

Thompson and his father, Skip, who was a top notch Late Model racer in his racing days, have been involved in racing for many season, and own the S&S U-Pull-It Auto Parts right next to the recycling business in Lebanon on historic Route 66.

This event will be for track points along with Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series national and regional points.

The payout is based on a 15-car minimum. The format will be open draw for heat races with the top eight cars in passing points redrawing for their starting spots. There is no car entry fee, only your pit pass of $30 for that night.

Payout: 1. $777, 2. $500, 3. $350, 4. $225, 5. $175, 6. $150, 7. $125, 8. $100, 9-16. $77. Tow is $35 if you compete in the last chance races and do not advance to the feature.

Racing action that night will also include Midwest Modifieds, Pure Stocks, Hornets and Bombers.

Pit gates will open around 4:30 p.m. with hot laps at 7 and racing at 8 p.m. Draw cut-off will be 7:25. Cars arriving after cut-off will be awarded only heat finish points and no advancing or passing points.

The Lebanon Midway Speedway competes each Friday night through the first week of August in Out-Pace USRA B-Mod action along with Street Stocks, Hornets, Midwest Modifieds, Pure Stocks and Bombers. In September, the speedway will feature Saturday night racing in the Fall Survivor Series which awards Out-Pace USRA B-Mod national points and a variety of different classes in addition to the normal backbone of the racing program.
