Bloomfield, Memphis season openers postponed

BLOOMFIELD, Iowa -- Officials from RL Promotions have announced that the previously scheduled April 6-7 season openers have been postponed.

The 2007 season opener at the Mountain Dew Bloomfield (Iowa) Speedway will now be Friday, April 13, and will serve as the first points race for the USRA Casey’s General Stores Weekly Racing Series featuring USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks and Hornets.

The 2007 season opener at the Pepsi Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo., will now be Saturday, April 14, and will serve as the first points race for the USRA Casey’s General Stores Weekly Racing Series featuring USRA Modifieds, USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks, Outlaw Hobbys and Hornets.

Both nights, gates will open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 and racing at 7.
