Powell continues hot steak at Lakeside Speedway
Tim Powell won the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod main event on Thursday, May 10, at the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan.
Out-Pace USRA B-Mods took part in a special Thursday night competition at the Lakeside Speedway, and Tim Powell captured his third consecutive victory over one of the most stacked field of drivers in recent memory.
Powell's win came over 2015 Out-Pace USRA B-Mod national champion Andy Bryant, former track champion Brad Smith, 2016 Out-Pace USRA B-Mod national champion J.C. Morton and one of the region's best USRA Modified drivers, Jim Moody.
Powell, Smith and Bryant captured the preliminary heat race victories.
